Case noise

if you have anything laying around that could stiffen up certain places (duct tape + metal ruler?) go getto on that :D

This is a common issue with my 600T as well, relating to the plastics expanding/contracting as the temperature of the components change. Try tightening up the screws affixing the perspex window to the panel. :)

Is this common to a lot of 600T's or just something that you unfortunately get?
was thinking of buying a 600T soon :(

I have read of a few cases of people with the same problem, but its easily cured by just tightening the screws. I knew of the issue even before I bought it. Doesn't do it with the screws tight :)

It's a fantastic case, you won't regret buying it. Just make sure to check the dimensions first because it is a lot bigger than it appears in the pictures haha.

I will make room...somehow :D

I would have told my neighbors where to go. That's nothing compared to what some neighbors put people through! They should count themselves lucky.

Maybe the OP forgot to mention the house parties? :D

lol fortunately for them we don't have house parties.

I haven't been able to test the PC properly yet because my road didn't have power for 7 hours and I don't want to risk the PC ticking at night, so I'll test it tomorrow but it seems promising the PC hasn't made a sound yet while downloading a game :).

Darn, tightening the screws didn't work so I'll tighten the expansion slots and run the computer without the side panels on to see if that's is certainly the problem, if the problem is solved I'll add on the side panels to see if it was the expansion slots. If everything fails then I'm not sure either sell or change case :(

you could try taking the side panel off (if no noise use blue tack to reattach it)
But it looks like you may need a new case.
If other have reported the same issue rma may be an option.
Or get something else.

Very odd - especially if it's hours after turning off.

To my surprise it wasn't the side panels, well at least not just them. I took off both the side panels and within 30mins of gaming I heard the sound again, This has confused me even further.

I don't think so, its definitely on the outside of the case as the sound is not muffled and is instead clear. Maybe its not metallic. I'm really confused.

Then maybe it's the top panel that covers the roof fan. I know with thw old Phantom Tower case you can pop that off not sure about the 410. Maybe see if removing that makes any difference

Yeah the slot brackets were as tight as they could be already but I kind of fiddled around with the top plastic thing and haven't heard anything yet so that may be it not sure. If I hear the noise again I'll remove the top.

Nope didn't work although when I pushed down on the top piece it did resemble the sound of the ticks. Anyone know how to take off the top of a Phantom 410? I don't want to break it.

Yeah I don't play games if at all earlier than 12pm and later than 5pm but even then there's a chance that it'll tick at night.
