Case noise

it should be held in place with with plastic plugs, just kind of lift the rear corner a bit and see if it pops out, then you can do the other corner and the front part just behind the actual case front.
At least that's how it works on the full Tower version of your case

Thanks, I'll do it tomorrow a bit late now and I think the neighbours already responded to the noise from their side with a similar one so they're probably annoyed lol.

Yeah but not as much as some peoples get to.
I took off the top along with the front plastic panel and there was no loud tick noise even after 1:30 hours of playing BF3.

I had something similar with my original Phantom case, but removing and reseating the top panel sorted it out for me when I installed an extra roof fan.
Sometimes you just gotta pull the panels off and put them back on to stop those odd noises

Wow a noise loud enough to hear through the walls! i was expecting a small tap

If the PC is in the same room you sleep in, would wake you up!
Trying removing all the removable parts of the case and then put them back on 1 at a time untill the noise comes back, then you can narrow it down

Yeah its on the top plastic panel for sure, still haven't been able to find which exact part is causing it though. Here is a recording of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_tZCXCdBwE
Turn up your volume so that you can hear the fans spinning that will give you an idea of how loud the tick is although it sounds quieter in the video than what it actually is.

How hard was it to pull the top panel off? I found after abit of removing and replacing of the front and top panel that pretty much all noise stopped on my case. I guess it's just a case of maybe wearing in the plastic pegs that hold them in place.

It wasn't that hard to pull off, I've also removed it a few times already but I was told to put Vaseline on the pegs so that they wouldn't suddenly move and make a noise sadly that didn't work either.
