Hi all so I've ordered my new system and I'd like to pick up a nice new case to replace my xigmatek midgard, the h100i with the help of some slight modding barely fit into my midgard so I need to get a new case at some stage.

I've narrowed down my choices to the following:

Corsair 650D
Corsair 550D
Bitfenix Shinobi
Fractal Design R4 or Define XL R2

I do also love the layout of the RV-03 internally but I don't really like how it looks.

Has anyone fitted a h100i into one of these cases with room for some 3.5" HDD drives? If so what would you say the pros and cons of the case are?

I do really like the look of the 550d + its quiet but no window :(

Ideally looking for something thats not too over the top looking aesthetically and is nice and quiet, with a window

Edit forgot to say budget is £150 max.

The stock fans are quiet (the case has a inbuild fan controller for 5v 7v and 12v for 3 fans, you get 3 with the case)
Just read up on reviews of the fractal arc midi, its basically the exact same thing, the R2 basically just makes it easier to install front fans/clean dust

The fans arnt the best with airflow, but they are by far not bad.
Personally will be moving the rear fan (included) to the other top slot (so 2 fractal fans in top to put a h80i in the rear. And getting a AF140 to put in the front with the other included fan.
If I was to replace all the included fans I would replace with AF140's, but to be perfectly honest its not necessary unless you want to perfect performance and make it look prettier ;p

Think its going to be either the 650d or the Define R4 or Define XL R2.

Only problem is for every case there's where ever you ask the concensious is that case X is rubbish and case Y is better and somewhere different the general concensious is case X is better and Y is lol

Which does keep changing my opinion of what case to get lol

Cheers guys,

I've decided I'm going to go for an R4 now its just proving to be a hassle to find any windowed models in stock anywhere
