It's been over 5 years since I last changed my case (Enthoo Pro M). I liked the front of this case with the large fans so thought I'd give it a shot.

Building was a doddle with plenty of room. I like the clip on sides and that you can remove the top to install an AIO. Here's a couple of pics from the build:

The next 4 pics just show that my Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 280 doesn't fit, I didn't pay due diligence!! The case allows AIO up to 60mm but mine is 67mm so the 2nd fan won't fit on. However, working fine with one fan installed until I source a replacement.

Lastly, this is just a pic of it switched on. I'm not usually a big fan of RGB but I quite like this.

Cable management was very good and I like the fact you can install the PSU sideways if it's small enough.

The only negative I have so far is that the front 170mm fans make a droning noise that goes up and down in pitch. Not a problem when gaming but annoying when just surfing. I've seen on the Lian Li Reddit page that people had this problem with the original 217 case and replacement fans were sent out which rectified the problem. As this is a newer case I'll be surprised if these fans are the same and need replacing. I have contacted their support to see if this is indeed the case so will just have to wait and see.

Very nice. Very pretty case.. However I would be mad AF if I had that issue. That issue plagued PCs for years. IE, they skimped on materials and made it impossible to fit a rad with a fan on in the roof. I encountered so many cases like that. So frustrating.

I've got time to send it back which I'll probably end up doing if they can't sort out the fans. The cooler fit perfectly in my Enthoo Pro case which is a little bit smaller in height than this one.

that's a tadannoying about noise...just picked one up for a build i need to do for this weekend..put next to my 011d evo for size ref if anyone interested...looks nice and spacious inside..even has rubber grommits which seem to be dying out nowadays. Fingers crossed my fans don't make a noise

It was really nice to build inside it, loads of room for cabling etc. Lian Li are sending me 2 new fans which current tracking says delivery tomorrow. Once they're fitted I'll leave an update.

Are you going to get a thinner 280mm AIO or a Arctic 360mm that should fit (85mm max thickness)?

Can't tell from the pictures but can the radiator be moved away from the motherboard or is it to close to the side panel of the case already?

Was wondering if these offset brackets would help.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £11.99 (includes delivery: £3.99)

I ended up buying a Corsair Nautilus 360 ARGB when it was on offer, fits perfectly and looks nice.

Unfortunately I couldn't get rid of the humming noise so case was returned under RMA. On the lookout for a new case now.

unfortunate...built the one I got for friend and was silent in normal operations. I built 2 pc for same guy. same components, just different cases..one was the 217 inf, other the corsair 3500x...both easy cases to build in tbf. Completely different look though

I'm sorry to hear that, as I was seriously considering the 217, although the 170mm fans did put me off, to the extent that I didn't go for it.

I really love the Infinity effect on the front.
