Hi i have my components sitting without a case in a cupboard in the living room and would like a case to fit in said cupboard.

Size wise it needs to be <380mm wide <300mm deep and any height you want, would like air space round this and looks don't matter as it will be hidden from view

Thanks

Robert

Hi
Thanks for the replies budget as cheap as possible as it wont be seen, motherboard at the moment is mATX but that doesn't mean i wont upgrade to ATX, the FT03 is way over budget for a case that will be shut in a cupboard.

Really just looking for a case with good cooling as i have lived with no case for a while now

Thanks

Robert

The problem you're going to have is that any ATX case pretty much won't fit within your dimensions.

Therefore you're limited to an mATX case, and the only real makes I can think of that do a case that might fit in your dimensions are Silverstone and Lian Li. Both of which produce relatively expensive cases...

By relatively expensive, kd means you'll be skint after buying one ;)

Both manufacturers have some good cases, but IMHO, the majority of their cases are too boring and boxy and are too expensive for what they are.

Up to you though.

Well yeah they're mATX cases are about £80-130... :s

you could get any old matx desktop / media centre case (less that 380mm wide) and mount it to the back wall of the cupboard.
that way the cupboard 'depth' is the height of the case.
And the front is pointing up - cables go straight down.

Antec NSK 1380, Minuet 350
X-Case Q100, S007B, X-cube, X1501A
Akasa Midas
The list goes on - lot's of choice without going over £40inc

Check the psu size - some matx cases don't fit standard atx power supplies
