Casein intake and eggs?

Those are for shakes, you can buy liquid egg whites though.

But dietary cholesterol isn't bad for you anyway, so just have your scrambled eggs :)

Eggs are good, yolks n all.

There's still plenty of bad dietary information being circulated from the old days. My mum always used to say I shouldn't eat so many eggs.

Great link thanks.

Only dated February last year.. I do recall this making the news. I was under the impression that the yolk contained the same saturated fats that they claim contributes.

So fine eat scrambled eggs each day :)

Go for it mate, it's totally fine. Dietary cholesterol is greatly exaggerated

I eat 4 eggs every morning, and have done whenever I'm not dieting, and it's never affec.......hnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggg

I was just lolled at pretty hard for saying the whole eggs/dietary cholesterol thing is a myth. OMG more than 4 eggs a week is really bad for you

These are the same people who tell me that the low fat yoghurts are better for you than standard ones, that eating fat makes you fat, and who never go to the gym but seem to know a great deal about "toning" exercises.

I go to the gym 3+ times a week, and have dropped fat while building muscle and strength, while not having to cut out awesome food. This obviously means I know nothing about fitness.

:o

Wheres is the best place for someone to get something like this tested? Cholesterol I mean? Is it worth doing or?

EDIT: I should really start scrambling / poaching my eggs rather than frying them each morning...Anyone know of any decent poachers? :p

Pan full of boiling water - job done ;)

There are testers you can buy online, but there are a lot of cheap and nasty ones not worth while.

Personally, just go to your doctor and get one done you don't need to do it regularly.

Just a deep pan, enough to cover the eggs, works well enough. Personally I like my eggs fried though - I poach occaisionally. Scrambled is gorgeous though :) I don't have gas at the moment :(

The worst thing you can do with an egg is fry the life out of it and oxidize the fats. As long as you don't do this they're an awesome superfood. Arguably the healthiest way to eat an egg is to boil it and keep the yolk runny. To do this bring put the egg in water, bring it to the boil, as soon as the water boils turns off the heat and let it stand for 6 minutes. Voila a perfect boiled egg.

As already said several times don't worry about the media scaremongering :)
