Cashback and withdrawal limits

I have withdrawn my cash limit today but I need some more cash. Can I get cashback from a supermarket even if I have reached my hole-in-the-wall limit?

yeah, I believe so.

Its not a cash withdraw, its basically a normal sale transaction.

If you spend to much though and you normally dont then they might block your card though. It might be worth calling them first to tlet them know its legit.

Not for cashback though, however techincally you can only have a max of £50 and no more then once aday for cashback - a lot of places go over that mind.

They are classed differently though, ATM is your ATM Daily Limits, Cashback falls under your POS Limits. Getting cashback is unlikely to cause a security check though.

Ta. I could do without my card getting blocked at the moment so I might give them a wee call.
I got a credit card blocked a couple of months ago cause I bought a £130 TV after 3 months of inactivity :rolleyes:

why not just go into the bank instead of using a cash point, you can take out whatever you want then

Depends on the Card Type and what your branch set it at, the average is £200 though.

£200, £250, £500 etc.. etc.. not seen many above £500 though.
