Was it circular? Had 2 buttons on either side? By horizontal bars you mean made of metal yes?

I think it was more like the Casio shape featured above. I can't remember it for sure. The bars were metal.

The coolest watch I ever had was the Casio remote control watch, so much fun was had in school changing TV channels in assembly and lessons where the video tape was being viewed
