New, inspired by the Nintendo game I believe (hence the Nintendo at the beginning

) - to be precise I think it is Castlevania III that the story is based on.

The producer of it was also involved with a Power Ranger short https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vw5vcUPyL90
so could be interesting

Just watched the first ep and seems alright to me.

only a four-parter so can easily digest in one sitting

EDIT: watched the lot, brill, want another season NOW!

The animation and story were good, the voice overs were more hammy than a bacon sandwich.

Watched the first 4 last night, animation is good and they've got some famous actors in for the voice work. Shame got to wait how ever long for the next 8 episodes.

Watched them all Sunday morning, disappointed the series was so short, any word when series two will be?

At the end of the series, I feel like it goes into symphony of the night, with Alucard etc going into Draculas castle to defeat him, would this be right?

I doubt it will be any time soon. Although it has been renewed for 8 more episodes. I would guess early next year.

I wasn't aware it was only 4 episodes so you can imagine how gutted I was when there was no 'Play more' button.

First was short as it was more of a demo to see how well it responded with viewers, I've been waiting for S2.
