I bought the same oil in tescos for £21 last Sunday. I was going to order from euro car parts that night but saw em on shelf for same price.

Also worth a look for people if they have a big tesco nearby.

Good old permanent sale tactic. You never actually know if youre getting a good deal or not.

It seems the minimum discount to expect at any time is 25%-30%

occassionally ecp is cheaper than cp4l

years back when i had my own account with them i had my own level of discont from their advertised prices.

what theyve done is inflate the prices for the whole catalogue so that they can apply the variable discount to everyone to make them think theyre getting a deal (because thats what everyone wants)

I avoid them now if I can. For braking bits and pieces, they always come out much more expensive.

Annoys me that my car needs 4.5 litres, i end up having to buy a lesser brand at the same price point, although i doubt it matters that much !
