i believe normally cat c/d vehicles will be given a check by VOSA/DVLA to make sure thye road worthy with the repairs made to the vehicle so their should be documentation advising the check was carried out
I'm glad this came up - I was looking at this ad today for a Porsche Cayman S, advertised as a CAT D but the seller says no damage was incurred ? Why would an insurance company CAT D it if it was undamaged ?
