Got in yesterday and Mrs Dimple said there's a bird in the drive with a missing head 
I couldn't find it.
I couldn't find it.
My grandad found an injured baby wood pigeon (broken wing) in his garden. The RSPCA didn't want anything to do with it nor the vet so he put a splint on it and kept him in the garage to heal. He got better and would fly around his garage so he opened the window to let it go but it never left. It lasted a few months I think, then died.
Once I also spotted our old Lurcher setting on something in our garden bush, I thought it was a cat or something so I ran up the garden to grab him but was too late the evil git had lunged in and bit whatever was in there. I found a black bird with its throat torn fluttering about, I put the spade through its head which was pretty grim. The dogs instincts were to just bite it, not eat it.
