Catalyst 11.11 mouse issues

I have an Asus DirectCUII 6970, and I have the latest Catalyst drivers installed. Straight after installing the drivers I'm getting a minor but very annoying issue with the mouse cursor:

It's hard to explain but when the cursor transitions between busy/hand/normal/etc it moves up and down like it's corrupt. If I uninstall the drivers it goes back to normal. I have tried the new beta drivers too and get the same problem.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Yep, still the same

Also noticed another issue (related to Catalyst drivers, but maybe this should be in another thread?). When I log into windows and the screen fades to black and back in again, the fading is not smooth. It's a bit like the tearing effect in games when v-sync is off. This also only happens when Catalyst is installed.
