Yup - Don't watch youtube whilst gaming - it will ruin your high score anyway! lol

I just got round to installing these, first boot and wdm has stopped working, reboot fixed it, notice a option to disable crossfire power saving mode, have ticked it to disable it, was thinking it will now show the temps and clocks of second card, NOPE

anyone elze getting that flash video freezes when loading up a game? (flash video on the other screen) ? And normal video does this aswell, but sound continues

Try Right clicking on the video to get Adobe Flash settings and then disable hardware acceleration. See if that makes any difference.

Getting random crashes in desktop...DRIVER STOPPED WORKING BUT HAS BEEB RECOVERED.

Most probably due to me giving it a nice overclock now im under water, will do some more testing and report back.

Just realised i was running at core 920 on my 6950 :) it was probably that have eased it back to 880 and will see what happens.

TBF I get them @ stock on my 5970, and the driver just seems totally unstable. I have barely done anything, and it seems to crash randomly whilst watching video (DXVA Accelerated MPC-HC, which I updated to see if it was the problem but was fine on 11.1).

I think I am going back. I clean installed these, so the driver is clearly the problem.

Does anyone know what exactly the new filtering settings do on HD5000 series cards? It's seems to have changed now.

The default settings for Catalyst AI are "Quality" with Surface Optimisation enabled, but switching to "High Quality" and Surface Optimisation disabled seems to have no effect.

For problems with youtube videos I found that setting AA to application controlled sorted out any playback issues. I've tested this quite a few times with different settings and it has worked each time so far. You may need to uncheck temporal AA or simply reduce the strength down from x4 to x2 for example.

That shows you that the optimisations are not reducing IQ then ;)

That's UVD clocks not 2d and it's only still happening because the site hasn't been updated to fully support stage video in flash 10.2. Flash videos that are full accelerated use the same 2d clocks as your desktop, so the sooner sites update the better :)

It is stupid that a lower clock speed overrides a higher one (people have been complaining about this for years) though. There are menus/overlays in the od game that trigger it occasionally :(

Hmm the drivers seem alright for the 4870X2, except that my BC2 load times have gone up to 20 seconds (from 10s with the 10.4a) and I seem to get the odd black flicker every now and again.

Back to the 10.4a drivers I guess
