Catalyst 11.2

These are a no go for me yet again. Not had a working driver release since 10.10e's (god I love these drivers). Overclocking causes massive artifacting on my second monitor due to the driver constantly switching between 2d and 3d clocks, and after awhile both gpus randomly jump to 100% usage and stay there. 10.10e no issues at all. Sigh.

Probably have to redo the overclock,to fit the new drivers....

Head ache yes, but im sure it would work.

as getting much lower fps in heaven and vantage with 11.2 i ran d/s and shabam !! 11.2 turned out to be the best drivers so far

Unfortunatly not, tried for quite some time with both 11.1a and 11.2 no dice. Both suffered from the 100% usage bug after awhile (and yes I always do a full uninstall followed by safe-mode driversweep before installing new drivers).

No matter what my voltage or clock settings kept getting the distortion (think it's because the 10.10e's automatically set the 2d clocks to 400 1200 but the 11.x's don't).

Whilst I could have probably fiddled with the profiles to get it working, no point due the the 100% usage bug. Overall not been impressed with ATI's drivers recently.
 
Hi

Just wanting to vent my frustration with AMD / ATI. Installed these new drivers on a fresh install of Windows 7 so no chance of old driver issues. Unfortunately I am still getting black screen flashes in BFBC2 although I now have a new issue, 2 - 3 second freezes normally at the most unfortunate of times.

TBH I have had enough with AMD and I will be looking to get a replacement NVIDIA card in the very near future.

Well having a quick look round the net seems to show that the gtx 580 doesn't seem to have these issues. BFBC2 is my favourite game and unfortunately my ATI cards at the moment are ruining this for me. There have been numerous driver updates and none of these have helped the issue, with the current drivers actually making the gameplay worse.

Have you tried with 1 card to see if it's any different?
