CATALYST 6.2 BETA DRIVERS

Well i think these are 5.13 relabled

its the same no. 8.203 are 5.13 32bit

i get the same score 59xx as with the 5.13

with x1900xtx

uninstalled and waiting for the proper ones
 
There is no 16:10 widescreen modes apart from native which you monitor drivers put in.
I have been posting this point on a couple of ATi sites, hoping some Ati employee will sit up and take note.
I have a 2005, so I have 1680x1050, but no other 16:10 res :(

Am going have to sell this card if they don't put 1680x1050 support in there next driver release for people with different native res monitors...This card not fast enought to play every game at 1920x1200..

I had to put my two 7800gtx that i was going to sell back in my system..
How can ATI mess up something like this on there top end card..

Omega drivers help? Google it.
 
Yes Megatron, so does Powerstrip .... but Omegadrivers don't work with Xfire, and neither it seems does Powerstrip.
Either of the above should help Chapperral though:)

I tryed the omegadrivers before..But then i loose the overdrive overclocking..
I really want proper ati drivers with support for 1680x1050 then having to play around with 3rd party appz and drivers on a £400 card.

I have a nice easy answer for you Chaparral, send me the 1900 and you keep your GTX's :)

Or get another 1900 and crossfire ... that should deal with 1920x1200 ok :)

But yeah, I agree 16:10 widescreen res options should be in the drivers.
 
I have just d/l CAt 6.2 and upgraded from Omega 6.1's ( with a lot of trouble I hasten to add) and I keep on getting CLI.EXE (which I believe is CCC application according to google) cannot initialize on every boot up

Any one else had similar problems? Was trying to upgrade as there seems to be a good performance boost, but I hate these kind of errors ( I do release they are still Betas but even so)

install .net 1.1

that should fix the cli.exe errors
 
Well after installing Net 1.1 my whole WinXP installation fragged itself on the next restart - not even safe mode or anything would help. Couldnt get anywhere near windows - so spent the rest of the day reinstalling everyyyyyyythhing

Even though I dont think i should have had to - maybe I should have uninstalled CCC completely before installing Netframeworks

Anyway got 6.2's installed now and only got about a 20 3dmarks06 improvement laughs so not really that worth it, but maybe with judicial adjustment that might be improved slightly
