Ok holy crap my performance has increased two fold in stalker, Everything i mean everything on max grass shadows, shadows, full dynamic lighting etc 4xaa 16xaf Min:20 Average:75 max:300 Im loving this card more and more. What were people saying about no more performance increases from the drivers???

Btw im using 1.7 of the float32 mod which i encourage all people to use as it increases stalker performance whilst improving lighting

I don't have stalker so cant confirm the increase in fps, we need some more guys with the game to confirm if its for real or not.

havent played it much tho is there a benchmarking tool you would like me to run? im on 7.7 drivers and downing the new now

Installing to test now, my stalker avg FPS was 79 @1280x1024 max settings with the 7.6's so we will see how i fair with these

Go to start, Catalyst folder, then click Restart Runtime.

No magic fps in stalker for me..

All maxed out 4xAA and 16xAF im getting 25-30 fps

This is at 1650 x 1050 though *sighs*

so how do you benchmark it, or get it to show FPS, ar eyou guys using 3rd party software?

One thing to note guys is when your running S.T.A.L.K.E.R make sure you turn all AA/AF OFF in the CCC and set it to the required level in game instead. Setting AF for example from the CCC causes massive slowdowns and performance decreases

that might be why i only got 8000+ when i 3dM06'd it overclocked then earlier thought i'd knackered it lol

Ok now ive got CCC AA/AF off and just maxed it out in Stalker, Now im maxing out at 40fps. Quite werid how some get massive rises in fps yet im the same..

Average FPS in buildings demo was 85 and in short demo 79.

about 10fps increase.

All settings maxed @ 1280x1024

Start the game like always

Load Game "short_timedemo", or "buildings_timedemo" wait for loading ...

Press button ~ for console

Type this : demo_play short_timedemo or demo_play buildings_timedemo and Enter
