I wish i could run the ATI overdrive like you. I put in the 8 pin power for the graphics card and no luck at all![]()
Have you clicked the little lock button? I made that mistake.

80C is nothing for this card, it gets well toasty, you'll hit 80+ just playing at stock clocks.
You should be able to max out the mem clock in Overdrive no fuss, then if you bang core at 856 you'll get 850Mhz core (actual), or you can just shove it up to the end of the bar and see if it works![]()
This may be what you're looking for, not sure if it's legit or what though as I have a GTX.*twitches* I've got my 3870X2 on my work desk now (delivered this morning). Really itching to try it out, these drivers need to come out as soon as possible! Any one know of leaks of it?

I got 855/955 and it passedYAY!
sitting at 67deg atm
But the "current clock settings" at the bottom dont change![]()
I wonder how effective the HD3800/2900 cards will be at folding. The 640 shaders on the 3870X2 will be like a small supercomputer!
Graphical processing units
As of October 2, 2006, the Folding@home GPU client has been released into the public as a beta test. After 9 days of processing from the Beta client the Folding@home project had received 31 teraFLOPs of computational performance from just 450 X1900 GPUs, averaging at over 70x the performance of current CPU submissions.
I'm looking forward to this driver.
I have a Sapphire HD 3850. Am i right this in thinking that the new driver is going to give a big boost in frame rates on this card?
