Once you get Grid working let us know what your fps is like during a normal race, am getting between 60-80 fps @ 1920x1200 with everything on max and 8xMSAA. Not sure if this is good or not because this game doesn't seem to have a benchmark facility, well none that I'm aware of anyway.

PES2008 is playing horribly though, very jittery. Same problem with the beta drivers.

Still no joy with the CCC. getting really hacked off with all the versions of these drivers now. the only ones that'll instal are the 8.6 and those are from the installation disc. :mad:

It has cleared up all of mine. No driver version would work at all before these.

Great, have to wait another month for a driver and till then I'm stuck with the ones on the disk. Now I remember why I enjoyed using my 8800, loads of versions to choose from and good old laptopvideo2go if my card wasn't supported anyway.

Gotta agree there mate, unfortunately at least I'm not the only person having probs. I'm slowly leaning towards getting an nvidia offering next time providing its cheap enough. Never had probs at all with their drivers.
