Catalyst 9.12 leaked (Vista/Win7 64)

Aren't the official ones due later today?

I'm in no rush, only need one for my HTPC's onboard 780G chipset to see if it fixes the resume from sleep problem I have. That and I have a 5770 on the way at some point, but since it was a competition prize I have no idea when that'll arrive.
 
These sapphire ones dont work right for me.

Win 7 64bit 2x 5970

Uninstalled Beta 5, used driver cleaner, restart, install 9.12, restart.

Nothing seems to work right. Cant run Vantage, FarCry 2, Shattered Horizon or ATI DX11 demos.

Dirt 2 runs but without all features able to run on Ultra (I guess its in DX9 mode)

Crysis seems to run ok but fps is only around 40-60 with everything on max settings (its a lot better with the Beta 5 drivers).

Keep getting random .dll errors up on the screen when trying to run things.

Seems like its installed some 32bit .dll files as the errors are like
"C:\Windows\system32\atidxx32.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error."

Guess I will wait for the official ones.
 
Driver sweeper doesn't help with anything you don't need it, you don't do it with anything else so why should you have to with graphics drivers, I kno why! You dont!

Anyway, these leaked drivers are balls, I tried to run Dirt 2 it messed up the welcome videos, as well as the GFWL bar, it turned them into green and pruple squares AND large FPS drops, so either the drivers are buggy or more likely these leaked ones are crappy :)

They'll be out 6pm latest in the UK
 
The driver cleaner I use only deletes the files you tell it to and then windows boots as if no drivers have been installed.

Anyway back on Beta 5 drivers and all is 100% fine again just no Dirt 2 CF support but full DX11 settings and all other DX10 and 11 games/apps work fine.

Just hope the official ATI drivers are good and not a steaming pile of poo like these sapphire ones.

may have or maybe not, but tbh no need to use, just uninstall using windows uninstaller then go in to device manager and delete the graphic card driver, then reboot and install the least ati drivers.. done
 
I've never had a problem just installing over recently, but have in the past, and other people have. I think it's safe to use anyway tbh. Bit of a handwavey excuse.
