Having done a few tweaks for gaming with ccc results can vary from game to game for best visuals, what method do you use to get the best looking and performance in games, for example forcing AA in certain games makes it look worse or am i doing something wrong with other settings,my card is an Asus 5870..:)

It's really a case of testing to see which method works best.

General advice is to use any in-game settings first. If you're not happy with the result, try forcing them via ccc or Radeon Pro

Btw, download RadeonPro below. Saves messing around in CCC on a per game basis ( imho ati's profile system is poor & not user friendly ) :

For the best visual quality, you would want to use supersampling aa, high quality texture filtering & high mipmap quality.

Just keep in mind that supersampling aa will kill your framerate & only works on DirectX 9 titles afaik.

Edge Detect is the next best aa quality. Better than multisampling but at the cost of a noticeable performance hit - but not quite as much of an fps killer as supersampling is.

Ignore narrow & wide tent aa as they blur the image too much imho.
