Anyone know why the ati catalts drivers are causing my wmv videos to play back in bright pastle like colours?

Get Windows Media Player 10, and use that, as it fixes it, as i had the same problem months ago.

it's a continous problem that plagues ATi. I have the problem with wmp10. The *fix* (i wouldnt call it a solution) is to turn WMV accelleration off in the ati driver panel
