Caution - Contents May be Hot

That was point though wasn't it, the coffee should never have been that hot. Stupid or not, many many people do it.

what do you mean it shouldn't have been that hot? coffee you make at home is hotter, why should everyone else have to suffer quicker cooling coffee because some American bint cant keep her legs together?

What has this got to do with what you make at home? That's your choice and your responsibility. Quicker cooling? who wants to have to wait for a hot drink to cool down before being able to drink it, it should be sold at a consumable temperature, if you need to keep it warm use a thermos or buy it from a place thats closer to where you want to drink it.

Serving coffee at a drive through that is hot enough to cause injuries like that is just insane regardless of the stupidity of placing it between your legs.

The point behind this thread is that society should be in a situation whereby companies find it neccesary to indemnify themselves against legal cases from absolute morons injuring themselves through things which are blatantly obvious.

Welcome to the world of litigation.

I don't know Mr Fox, you start a thread about an obvious question and then start to rant to us about the point of your thread.

Not very often I find myself thinking this of one of your threads, but, this one is crap.

If I did not know you better, I'd be shouting "Troll" !

I know all about the McDonalds coffee incident. This is slightly different.

Yesterday, I placed one of the new Heinz microwavable plastic beans tub thingies into the microwaved, and placed it on full power for 1 minute as per instructions.

Once I'd removed it from the Microwave, I went to remove the plastic film from the top of the pot and noticed it said, in big letters..

'CAUTION - CONTENTS MAY BE HOT'

What? Why is that there? Contents MAY be hot? I should damn well hope so given I've just microwaved them for 1 minute. Is there really, honestly, anyone who wouldnt expect a tub of beans just removed from the Microwave to be hot?

Why do we need such crap, retarded warnings on things? Do people have NO common sense?
For someone who purports to having so much taste, I find the fact that you eat microwaveable beans rather amusing :).

You decided to bump a month old thread to add that? I don't know where I've ever purpoted to had taste, so I suggest you crawl back under your rock until the next trolling opportunity presents itself to you. Perhaps if you were more observant you'd find opportunities which did not require the bumping of month old threads.

Botanincally speaking, peanuts are not nuts, so that warning "may contain nuts" shouldn't appear on a packet of peanuts. :P

It was at the top of the forum when I logged in. And do relax it's not a troll, it was a mere light hearted poke at your general posting style.
