CBT trainer.+
Firstly you don't need a Private Trainer (If that's what you mean) to do your CBT & secondly 200 quid is taking the ****.
Just find your local CBT place book it & go along for the day.
CBT is Not a test it is Training.
Mine cost 105 quid April 2011.
On second thought, I've thought about ferrying to Scotland on cheap return ticket and do CBT over there. I think it might be worthwhile as GB's CBT will be recognized in NI but not vice-versa though.
Also, I think it has to do with NI's CBT training which needs a minimum of 4 hours on-road riding, which is not the same as in England?
Yes but the scheme isn't exactly the same though as it was recently introduced in NI in 2011.I may be about to demonstrate astronomic ignorance, but I was given to understand that N.I was part of the United Kingdom, and therefore subject to the same road rules and regs as the rest of the UK..? Edit - As in, a CBT in N.I. is a UK CBT, same as the rest of the country
I parted with 100 quid for mine lent me a helmet (was new thank god) and lent the most god awful gloves ever! still got me through the day good enough.
I did mine in jeans and my legs were frozen by the end of the day.
