CCBWE 0551UPMW- Good Stepping?

Got one this week, with a DFi Nforce 4 Ultra, have'nt had a chance to prime yet, but installed xp fine at 2.6 running 1:1 with some gskill and ran through 3dmark 2005 at 2.5 with no glitches. Doom3 also no worries @ 1200x1000
Apologies for the poor testing, but struggling to get online to get the tools yet!!
All at stock volts, have'nt touched them yet, so either I might need a few to get 2.6 prime stable, or I'm hoping a few more will allow higher speeds!!

I had one of these and it was 2.8ghz on default volts straight out the box. These are the same stepping as the fx60's.

Check out my post (no.87) in the Official Opteron 170 OC thread

wondered if anyone knew how the Opteron 170 (not 165) variant of the CCBWE 0551UPMW stepping was clocking, did a few searches couldnt find much...

Just say NO
these chips do not clock as well as others.

I have one and the best I have managed is 2.70 at silly volts (nowhere near stable) and 2.6 at 1.500V stable.

Avoid this stepping if you can.
One of these days I'll get a good clocker :(

Stan :)

Hi there....i have that stepping and from my experience it is good....i run it 24/7 at 2.6 low volts and bench at 2.8ghz....even got it to bootup at 3ghz for a screenie but as i'm only on air cannot and will not test it at high speeds as it would get way too hot...but i'm happy to to run it at fx60 speed :)

I've had mine for about 4 weeks now, not to bad a clocker at all. Does 2.5ghz on stock volts and 2.7ghz on 1.5v. I have'nt tried any higher yet, but my guess would be 2.75/2.8ghz with 1.55v. Screenie below.
