I use the free version of CCleaner just to remove old internet files and stuff. But when use CCleaner just to scan my drivers and chipset it always shows that they are out of date. My CPU and GPU are both Amd so I always go onto the the Amd website to update my drivers and chipset by using the automatic option.

So any ideas why CCleaner shows that they are out of date?

I think that Revo Uninstaller would do the same job for you and I believe it's much better regarded and generally serves more purpose. From what i'd read CCleaner has been frowned upon for ages since they became more advertising and bundled software heavy. (the cleaning, not the driver checks iirc)

I use an older version of CCleaner, that doesn't have all the adverts, just used for deleting cookies/browser history
