Well I've been studying for about a month using the self study method to learn the contents of the CCNA Intro book and I will be sitting the exam tomorrow.

So I was looking for any advice that could be offered from the people here?
Last minute exam revision techniques? Preparation for the exam? Anything I should remember?

Is it gonna be difficult? :p

Thanks
Asim

If you've been taking practice exams and passing them then you should have a pretty good chance.
Use the demo of the exam software as a 15 "recall" session - write down everything you can remember (subnetting, OSI model etc) so you can reference it quickly.

Good luck :)

I really don't know what to say apart from go and look over your notes now! :p There is always something everyone misses out in thier notes when it comes to exams!

I've got my Cisco CCNA Semester 1 Final in 3 weeks and I can't even memorise the layers of the OSI :(

Terrible in uni thats the one thing they hammered us with for 3 years. And never once did they ever mention the TCP/IP model. I saw it in the cisco book and thought wtf is this

What's the intro exam? I did the whole course in about 9 months. Can't stand it tbh. I duno how you guys like this. It just goes way to deap for me to even care lol.

You want advice? If you fail your final 1st time and you go to take it a second time (last time) you MIGHT get the same questions. The good thing is your instructor should be able to go over the questions you got wrong and give you the right answers. Well that's how I got thought all of the chapters and the final. ;)

Did you get the same questions on your final re-take? I'm sadly in that position...

Only half were the same. Can I ask where you take the exam and if the instructor is in the room at the time? ALT + TAB might just be your friend.. (I only said this is ALT + TAB is your friend, if it's not don't slate me for it lol)

The instructor won't be in the room all the time...

Can Cisco tell if you minimize the window?

No not rly. Instructor were quite lax, you could ask them a question in the exam and when they give you the answer just walk back to your comp and click to box lol. CCNA 1 wasn't to bad. It's CCNA 2 which I just couldn't hack.

Were those the Cisco academy tests or the proper CCNA qualification exams?

Actually when I took mine (the proper INTRO/ICND exam) the testing program didn't appear and I was just about to leave the room and tell the receptionist there was a problem. But the I thought to try alt-tab. I actually had to alt-tab into the test, not out of it. But anyway I doubt those machines were directly connected to the net so you couldn't cheat even though there were no examiners in the room.

Well you can take the exams and the final through the academy website. I have the CCNA 1 and ITE 1 & 2 qualifications now so I'm guessing they were the real deal. But my instructors were also my collage course teachers.
