CD image software

[Oracle]

Can someone help me? I'm looking for some free software that can convert a file (or folder) into an ISO (is it?) image, that can then be burned to a CD.

I saw one a while ago that looked really good, and I swear blind is was some guys name or something! EDIT: Something Friemann, or Frienman, and I seem to remember the name Alex as well! Sorry if this makes no sense!

Thanks
