CD stuck in MacBook

Think the drive on my MacBook has an issue - it wasn't as easy to get the cd in the drive as it should be - almost as if something was blocking it.

I forced in a blank cd just to test it, got it in and it spun up fine but now won't eject. Have tried restarting and holding down eject but no luck.

It sounds like it's trying to eject but there's something blocking it. Any ideas?! :confused:

Hold your mouse button when you restart, should work. Well, if it's not jammed..

OK cheers that got the cd out, but it still doesn't feel as easy as it should do to get the cd inserted. It usually sucks the cd in when it's almost fully inserted but just makes some funny noises!

Update - booked a genius appointment for today, took it in and half an hour later I got a call back saying it was done and all they had to do was straighten out the optical drive

The price tag is justified just for the service sometimes.
