Downloaded this last night as I wanted to burn an ISO image of Vista SP2 that I have downloaded.

But...my drive doesn't appear to work with it even though it's on the compatibility list.

Anything I can do to get it working or is that it, game over?

Aye its a great piece of software. You know for next time now.

In fact, its so good, I run it under Wine in Linux when I need to burn disc images!

Tried CDBurnerXP in the past and had lots of problems with it, similar to what you're describing. Imgburn has always been my saviour, so now I trust nothing else.

Having said that, I used to trust nothing other than Nero, but that has now become a bloated piece of rubbish. Fingers crossed that Imgburn stays exactly how it is.

i have imgburn to burn windows isos and that's about it. optical media for the absolute lose.

Yeah but you can create images from physical media with imgburn, so imgburn can help you there too.
