When terminating a broadband contract at one address and moving to another, there is usually a cease fee of around £30 this is what BT charge the provider.
I'm told that this is linked to the line, but what if i'm moving within the same code (connected to the same exchange) and will have the same telephone number.
Would a cease fee still be chargeable?

(most likely). Sucks after 3 years of being with BT they stung me with that extra £30
