Am in a restless and mode and getting itchy buying finger.

The question is, do I cancel my outstanding order for the Sapphire 5850, expected delivery of mmmmmmmm yeah and buy 2 x 5770 for a X-Fire set-up or wait it out and hope that the 5850 actually gets delivered this side of the millenium?

If you don't mind dual gpu solutions deffinately the 2x5770's tons of reviews showing they outperform the 5850 and can even beat a 5870 in some games. Plus they are instock all over the place and can be had for £115 each.

Waiting for Asus 5870, thinking of 2x5770.

I'm going to wait, on the basis that you can't really upgrade from 2x5770 (atleast, I can't without a change of motherboard )

Whereas can always get a second 5870 next year.

2 5770's cost the same as a 5850 and outperform it by a fair big margin

Am leaning towards getting the XFire solution.

i know that i wil have abetter uprgrade path with the single as, when funds and CINCNAGHOME permit, i can grab a nother 5850 (if they are ever available) and XFire that bad boy.

Damn, i've just talked myself out of the 5770.............
