Hi,

I recently changed my bathroom. ceiling lamp. Changed from and old light that used a lot of wires to a new LED light that uses only 2 into a driver. I managed to get the bathroom light to work, but now the hallway light and the shaver socket have stopped working.

I've no idea how to attach a photo but I've got x3 black wires, x2 red, x1 yellow, x1 blue and x2 yellow / green.

The yellow/ green are taped off and not used.

2 red and the yellow go into a Wago connector

X2 black go into the live on the driver

The other black and the blue go into a wago with another blue coming out in to the neutral driver

Any ideas?

Much thanks

At a guess you've disconnected permanent lives looping from the old light, but really we need pics (upload to Imgur) and you should have a multimeter to check which wires are permanent live vs. switched.

Hi, Thanks for the advice.

Here's the mess -

Thanks

The frayed ends that connect to the transformer are an accident waiting to happen.

What you show in the picture doesn't match your description.

Is this a double switched circuit?

Thanks, I'll sort the transformer ends.

There's only one light switch to this light, but as the hall way light and shaver socket have stopped. I assume they are all connected?

Cheers

I cant even see the pictures but know that you should call someone who knows what they are doing to come and sort it out before your house catches on fire or you hurt someone.
