Hi,

I have a ceiling light switch, which is a pull cord. The cord snapped on me so now there is no cord inside the switch itself. I have taken it apart as much as I can and cannot see a way of getting a new cord back on. So I need to swap it for a new one. Anyone know what sort I'd need? I was looking at a 2 way, 6A one. Sound correct? All it powers is 2 flourecent tubes.

This happened at my girlfriend so I went over took it apart and tried to fix it.......took me a while to realise it was almost impossible to do it by hand.

Got to B&Q and get a replacment, it's manufactured with the chord in, will cost you a couple of quid.

Yep bog standard will be fine just take your broken one with you to compare.
