Celebrity Big Brother

Was just about to start a thread about this in GD, I don't like the 'celebrity' one because their not real celebrity's, the normal one all right though, anyone going to be watching it?
 
OH NOES! another crappy programme is being forced upon us by the evil TV people :mad: :mad:


Wait a minute, my tv has many channels and even an off switch! OH LORD HAPPY DAY!
 
I prefer the D-list celebs

D-Listers doing crazy stuff to get attention >>> A-Listers trying not to ruin their reputations

They apparantly approache Steven Hawking but he turned it down :( I have also heard that Boris Johnson might be going in
 
i wonder if all the sad idiots that sit at home watching someone else live a 'life' inside the BB house are the same ones that buy The Sims games?

I just cant think of anything more boring, frustrating and idiotic that these stupid shows!

I can. Spending your life visitng internet forums telling people that they are sad idiots because they chose to watch a TV programme that you don't like despite the fact that nobody is forcing you to watch it :p

well personally, I'm one of the ones that works hard all day and likes to come home to nothing more than some mindless entertainment because my brain hurts from concentrating for 8 hours non-stop :)

Says nothing about my personality that I like to watch tat on telly - just that sometimes I like to chill out and watch something that takes no effort at all :)

never ever bought a sims game, never played WoW or other similar life intensive games.
love bb and celeb bb tho :]

I'm with that... well apart from the concentrating for 8 hours bit... oh and the working hard bit too :o
 
So long as they get some interesting people in it this time... Last few have been crap.

Lets get people who are going to upset the others in there. Chubby Brown? Put Les Dennis in there against his will again too. Maybe even Barrymore. Get a total tart bag in there too cos I don't want to have to pay a subscription to see some celeb XXX.
 
sorry, i wasnt getting at anyone on here is just that these reality tv shows just do my nut in.

Im not forced to watch it no, but then im not forced to watch the world cup either however with both you are still made to endure TV shows about them, people constantly gossiping at them and you just cant get away from them.

Its not just that fact that these shows make people like Jade a 'celebrity' but that someone who is an absolute idiot is now in the public spotlight, a role model who is as thick as pig **** yet drives a porsche. What kind of message is this sending out to kids.

And then E4 takes it usual shows off all night from midnight to 6am to watch people sleep. I mean, what the hell!!

I didnt mean to imply that anyone on here was sad for watching, it just the whole idea of these shows makes me mad.

Perhaps it wouldnt be so bad if they got normal people and let them mingle, instead they pick the weirdest freaks ever and then manipulate them into doing what they want in order to keep it interesting and the money rolling in.
