Celeron Dual Core E1600, 200*12, 12x multiplier has very good potential for overclocking!

with stock cooler, I managed to overclock to 3.6GHz to OS, but the voltage required is much more than running 3.4GHz, so I preferred the laterz.:D

on J&W JW-IG31A-CF mobo, ADATA DDR2 800 memory 1GB*2

Wasnt aware this cpu was coming out so fair play for posting your initial test, would be good to see follow up tests when you get the chance

From what I can tell from googling, it's nothing more than a Core 2/Pentium E Allendale M0 with half the cache.

Thats not a lot of cache for such a fast chip, will be interesting to see how they pan out.

Will be great to see these in cheap laptops though.

I would imagine these would perform (roughly speaking) clock for clock in line with the X2 series from AMD however unlike the cheaper AMD chips these will clock like they are on heat.

I'm really looking forward to the benchmark results! :D that cache size is a bit on the low :P
