Our plasterer used something like it and it was pretty cool stuff.

What exactly is it called and any brand better than others?

Could do with some for when painting as I am known to be a little messy :D

Thanks.

I used "ScotchBlue Painter's Masking Tape Advanced Delicate Surface" when working around the skirting boards, etc. seemed to work well (when I wasn't impatient) not sure about floor protection though.

For floors/carpets I guess anything will do as you will have less concerns of it pulling stuff up when you remove it.

Yes.

Sorry for any confusion.

Covering the floor with frog tape might take a while.

Cool, yes re-reading I see 1m wide stuff, that would be some big ass frog tape lol :D.

On about totally different stuff, and it sounds like good stuff

Would have badly needed that on my latest lots of redecorating if it wasn't for the fact I was replacing the carpet when it was all done - even being moderately careful still got a good few splashes on the floor.

Do you mean this sort of stuff?

That is the stuff, thanks.

I was surprised how durable it was.

Down for 3 days and was bomb proof.

Saying that, I am sure different brands are different quality.

Use caution when using it on stairs. If it catches on your feet then you won't enjoy what follows (generally your arse and legs)
