Central locking/ immobiliser

Hi

Might seem like a dumb question but how secure (as far as thieves starting the engine) is a V-Reg Astra which has the central locking system where you press the fob once to lock the doors and a second time to activate the immobiliser? I don't know a lot about car security so all answers welcome.

Quite secure. If they want it they will take it! idiots looking for a quick joy ride wouldnt normally go for something like your astra id say. They will be looking for something much easier to steal. On the other side of the table i cant imagine many being stolen to order.. So i wouldnt worry mate.
