Centre exhaust muffler delete?

Has anyone done anything like this to there car?

It sounds pretty good imo and from what I've read fairly simple to do.

What do you guys think?

done it many many times over the last 15 years to many many different cars. be warned it may sound a bit louder but you'll upset the dynamics of the exhaust flow.

best to buy a "proper" aftermarket exhaust from an established company

On my Rover Turbo I had a decat, straight through centre section (as used on the Roversport Coupes) and a Mongoose backbox, 2.5" all the way through.

I'm sure it liberated a bit more power, but it did have a very loud/deep tone to it.

Many times. The result is different on different cars depending on the size of the middle box relative to the other silencers ie if the middle one is huge compared to the rest it will be a lot louder

Here is stock exhaust...

Note that isn't the rev limiter its bouncing off. When in neutral it seems to limit revs to 4k rpm automatically.

Our A1 (185ps) sounds good enough with the supercharger and turbocharger

Getting it done on my ST today hopefully. Was supposed to be done yesterday but the welder had been sent to hospital.

£60 from Tyrespot/Powerflow and makes it sound a little nicer
