Centurion 530 CD try problem

I recently bought a black Centurion 530, after installing a dvd drive i noticed that the drive had trouble pushing open the cases black flap. Has anyone worked out how to solve this problem? Should i remove the front part of the dvd rom tray?

Same happens with mine, the dvd drive is just not strong enough to push right through the case flap. I took mine off but then it looked weird so I put it back on.

You can weaken the spring on the left hand side of the flap, I took mine off, stretched it a bit and put it back and it works a lot better.

Might have to give that a go with mine. My NEC drive works perfectly but my sony one just doesn't... at all. Have just left it and any time i use it i just give it a helping hand.
