Why do they sometimes have new releases out for £70 a day or two before the game comes out? Surely that's illegal?

Might be that someone pre-ordered it elsewhere, got it early and then sold it to them (or they pre-ordered multiple copies knowing that they could sell them to them for a good amount) which isn't illegal unless they're charging more then RRP (although they do act like scalpers all the time).

They don't sell new goods so have no NDAs with any publishers. If they obtain second hand goods legally and early it's up to them if they sell them.

I was always confused why they offer £10 more for an iPhone on release than you can buy it for in Apple.

Good profit to be made every iPhone release.

I flip games in there all the time not because I’m poor but it’s a waste to pay full price for something that I will play once though.
