Challenge: Connect a SATA Drive using a Serielle to a PATA controller.

Anyone got any idea if this would work?

I cant test because i dont have a Serielle, but if someone could id really appreciate it!

I need to conenct my SATA drive to my Beast Machine which dosnt have any free PCI slots

USB2, Freeview and Network card have used them all up!

(PS dont EVER take integrated peripherals for granted!)

cant be done without a USB bridge incase anyone was wondering!

got a USB network card and PCI adapter instead
