well that includes XP but can be changed to Vista, includes 2gb of ram but can be changed to 1gb, overall i think if you can get an extra £50 something like this would be worth it, nice and portable, overclockable, neat system.

if i was going for a casual build for browsing, DVD watching i would go for something like that.

also if you are still at school ask your IT admin if he has any keyboards and mice you can have as you just got a new system. my cousin did that and got a nice little optical mouse ^_^.

its a shame really thats not a bad system for 400 but you could get sooo much more for 500

2gb of ram instead of 1gb
19" screan instead of 17"
2" more screen
250gb hdd instead of 160gb
dx10 compatible gpu for windows vista ... loads better than the one in your spec

Possibly drop the x2 3800 and pick up the x2 3600 brisbane from somewhere else? 65w, a tenner cheaper, runs cooler and clocks higher.
