My comment was meant to be very tongue in cheek, dark humour way to show the pointless of blaming the person in front. If you can't take responsability for yourself on the road, then you shouldnt be on the road.

I'm put it in a simpler and more pleasing manner. If you're in a traffic jam on a motorway and you see people driving down the hard shoulder.... do you drive down the hardshoulder too? If not, why not if someone else did it?

Just accept you ****** up, the fines paid, dont waste your time or more money for a mistake you made and learn from the mistake.

Its hard to take anything as tounge in cheek if you see most of the replies I get in most threads in GD. I cant get over the fact the OP knows they are responsable for the ticket yet wants to try to challenge it despite a no left turn sign and a prohibited entry sign.

In the OP's case it is a penalty, the clue is in the name Penalty Charge Notice. I assume you're not contesting a council issued PCN.

I'd wish you good luck but I think you're on a hiding to nothing trying to contest a council issued PCN that way.
