Hey hey!

I am new round these parts and I am starting my first full loop on Saturday.

Over the months of prep I have done the first time I have seen any mention of chamfering (forgive my spelling) was today when I went to buy the parts.

now either I am an oblivious fool or I have never seen anyone do it in the videos I have watched.

Is this a 100% necessary step? o ris it just somethin the cool kids do?

Any help would be awesome!
Thanks :)

It's probably not essential, but the idea behind it is to clean up the sharp edges of the acrylic to avoid damaging the rubber gaskets.

There is a tool for this you just put the pipe in one end give it a few twists to clean the ID then turn the tool around and same again for the OD. You don't need to do it too much.

Its the red circular tool in this kit, the side you see here does the OD.

That monsoon kit I have been after for weeks. only place I know its in stock is charging 100 quid.

so much so I changed from my original 16mm chaingun fittings and monsoon pipes to the EK one. easier to source what I need and does the same job :) thanks though!
