One of the most addictive (series of) games, ever.

You'll start playing on a Monday, then on Friday you will have maybe snapped out of the trance and you will have inadvertently had 5 days off work.

I know what you mean. At 22.15 say I'll think to myself, play until 23.00 and then go to bed. By the time 02.00 the next morning comes around I think, "Hmm might go to bed now".:o
 
Wow. When i saw the thread title I was sure some misquided fool would recommend CM2006 over FM, but I'm delighted to be wrong. It looks like almost everyone has wised up since the abortion of a release that was CM5.

Was a champ manager fan since it started off. Great series of games. 01-02 was a great game for its time. Simple interface and fast. When they brought out Champ manager 4 though, it became slow and not very good to play. I didnt play on manager games a for a little bit till I got FM 2005.

Fresh, new look into Football Manager sims. It intrested me very much and got me back into manager games. Played on it for ages, till FM 2006 arrived. Play on it all the time (just gunner boot it up now :p)

Football Manager is the series I would go for now. Bring on 2007 :D
