Champions league draw - 4:45pm

In all seriousness, while it's a harder group than they'd have hoped for, Newcastle are hardly massive underdogs vs either Milan or Dortmund. The fact that there isn't a whipping boy in the group does make it a bit of a lottery as to who will finish 2nd, on the assumption that PSG will top the group.

Honestly I'm looking forward to it.

Win or lose the games should be interesting. I think there's more pressure on the more stablished CL teams than us.

They'll certainly be more unhappy with the draw than Newcastle should be. You were by far the toughest pot 4 side where as you were always likely to get 2 strong sides in your group. Getting Milan from pot 3 makes it a bit harder than you'd have liked but if Milan or Dortmund were in the PL, I wouldn't say they were very likely, if likely at all, to finish above Newcastle.

As I said, having 4 strong sides in a group makes it a bit of a lottery because other than PSG's home games, any result in any other match in your group wouldn't be a shock.

If we can get 2 wins and a draw out of that group, I would be over the moon

wow talk about group of death   , one thing you can now guarantee is the PSG home game will be week 1 on the Wednesday night, as that’s my grandson’s 1st birthday and I think my wife and daughter will murder me if I go to the game:cry::cry::cry:
