Takes place tomorrow at 4.30pm live on SSN

Presumably City will be amongst the 4th place seeds?

Third seed.

Going to be amusing seeing the look on the first and second seeds faces when they get grouped with City :D

Okay so just checked and this is from the Beeb

Pot one - Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Arsenal*, Real Madrid, Porto, Inter Milan.

Pot two - Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon*, Villarreal, AC Milan, Valencia, Marseille, CSKA Moscow, Benfica*.

Pot three - Zenit St Petersburg, Man City, Olympiakos, Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen, Fenerbahce, Basle, Lille.

Pot four - Borussia Dortmund, BATE*, Dinamo Zagreb, Napoli, APOEL, Genk, Otelul Galati, Viktoria Plzen*.

*depending on qualifying

tbh I cant see any of the second lot of seeds worrying City. Would be fun to see them drawn with Barca or Real though

My fingers are crossed for Barcelona. Don't care who else we get, I want to see Messi et al at home and I want an away trip to the Nou Camp with a nice week in Barcelona to pad it out. Plus it would be one of those games I wouldn't expect anything from, and they're always good fun :p

As much as it pains me City's midfield could quite possibly be the best equipped to deal with Barca's especially now Nasri's signed

Napoli cant be drawn with another Italian side, give City Dortmund though they've got a couple of really promising young players

Actually scratch that if they impress City will sign them :o

I am assume City are third seeds purely off the back of how well other English sides have done in the competition previously?

Nasri was consistantly rubbish against Barca, and it would be almost certain they'd drop him(if he's even playing) should they play them. One, Silva and Aguero have both played Barca several times and played well against them, there isn't a chance in hell you'd drop Aguero, Toure, duh, the one guy who was awesome for them and knows them inside and out, De Jong, another no brainer(though I can see him picking up a lot of yellows and possibly reds, so will he be available?).

City might be quite good against Barca, powerful strikers, pace, a freaking wrecking ball in midfield in De Jong and when Toure gets running people bounce off him, all the things Barca really have trouble with defensively, good keeper, good cb's.

Can we have CSKA, Basel and Otelul Galati please? :p

I'm less worried about going out in the group stage than against Udinese, though Italian sides are crap and a few of their best players went, most CL groups end up with two really quite awful sides in them, teams half the premiership would dispatch with ease.

Hmm, is there more money to be made total doing group stage in CL then a run in the Uefa, rather than going out in the first round of the knockout stages?
