**Champions League quarter & Semi finals Draw**

I'm gonna be on that Arsenal ticket website 24/7 and just hoping that some of the tickets actually get released to red members. Otherwise it's gonna have to be ticket exchange to the rescue (as if anybody's going to give up their season ticket for this one!).

LOL at all the United always get easy draws & I hope Bayern knock out United posts in this thread

They certainly do have the easiest draw in both their initial game and playing in the next round.

I would have been hopeful of getting through to the final if Arsenal got Utd's place but if we do somehow manage to get past Barca then I think we would struggle against Milan.

I think the Utd Fans will already be booking their tickets of the final.

On the football side if we are going to go out I prefer to have played Barca and look forward to the two legs. Even if we do go out.

Hopefully Henry decides to throw the game and score three own goals ;)

Sometimes you think to your self, is it worth speaking to a liverpool supporter who will just give you a heart attack, because United somehow got an easy tie? Like omfg, Byern Munich.

Someone remind me who Loserfool got in the micky mose competition they are playing in?

Benfica? O RLY?

I'd like to point out that we have only actually ever beaten Bayern Munich ONCE.

In seven meetings we have drawn 4, and lost twice, and won one.

They are not going to be an easy side to beat, so it isn't an easy tie.

might be mistaken but it was also the most recent competitive match that we won (I think we have had some pre-season games with them in the reasonably recent past)

I would agree though - its incredibly hard to judge, and as Fletcher has said yesterday, if you even try to misjudge the "weaker sides left in the draw, like Lyon, you will get knocked out"

Did have a little chuckle about that I have to admit:D

I know in 1999 we beat them (famous comeback), and then in 2001 , we lost twice in the quater finals of the CL.

EDIT: As Above, our win was 1999. We haven't beat them since.

And if I remember correctly I think Bordeuax had the best group stages out of anyone, beating Bayern Munich twice.

Yeah our last games with Bayern have been

01/02 - Drew 1-1 away and 0-0 at home (group stage)
00/01 - Lost 0-1 at home and lost 2-1 away (quarters)
98/99 - Drew 2-2 away and 1-1 at home (group stage) and won 2-1 (in the final)

We also had a rubbish record against Milan until recently as well so I'm not too fussed about previous results, we're a different team now as are they :)

This is about as sweet as the draw could have gotten for United.

We will still hopefully be concentrating on the league, but the route to a 3rd final on the bounce has really opened up. I just hope someone gets rid of Barca if we actually do make it that far...

I think some Liverpool fans may get a serious wakeup call against Benfica, they were absolutely devastating against Everton earlier in the season in what was probably the most impressive performance I've seen from any side this campaign.

Aside from the fact that having Aimar and Saviola in the same team must be in breach of some kind of anti-competition regulations, the much-hyped Di Maria seems to actually be worthy of the hype.

Benfica destroyed Everton, will be interesting to see how they do against Liverpool.

Liverpool are a better team, but Benfica look good when I've seen them this season.
