Anybody see that pre matrch interview with Becks, everyone has been going on about Henry to Barca but I think Becks will be playing at Highbury with Henry (or whatever the new stadium is going to be called). Remember you heard it from me first LOL.

Emirates Stadium, although virtually all the fans will be calling it Ashburton Grove. I cerrtainly will. Off topic, the stadium looks damn sexy, and is truely a sight to behold.

More importantly, has anyone won a lot of money by betting on Arsenal, anyone know the odds?

Some of the lads on the AFC forums had 50/1 1-0 with Henry to score. I 'think' he had £10. I was going for Henry, 2-1 at 70/1, but decided against it, I mean 2-1up and a penalty in the last minute, I'd want the goal not the money.
You could get 13/2 on Arsenal, the longest odds on Arsenal for years.

Not bad, 21 being my lucky number i put £21 on Arsenal to win in the early hours of this morning (the 21st), so a good result all round :D

What odds?

Oh, and one for BoomAM: Peter Drury confirmed this evening that Flamini is indeed Arsenal's 8th choice leftback :)

:D I heard that too, had a little smirk on my face

Looking over at Physioroom, however, it seems that we may have 5 or 6 players back in time for the second leg, which is good news: Cole, van Persie, Bergkamp, Clichy, Gilbert and possibly Campbell. My concern is that we might go out on away goals so hopefully these reinforcements should allow us to tread water and hold out for the draw.

Cole could have been risked today, but Wenger decided against it, Rvp coming back is great news, I think he should figure too. Bergkamp will be on the bench, I can't see Gilbert getting in front of Eboue now for a while, and if Coles back he'll be on the bench.
Sol, not too bothered if he's back or now, I think we will be better without him.

Cole apparently played in a friendly this afternoon. It wouldn't surprise me if he's in the squad for Saturday.

Yeah, played 68 minutes in a 3-1 win over Barnet

Bloke on Arsenal world had £10 1-0 with Henry 1st scorer at 50-1. Nice.

Pleat is a ****. Sedairoros. Fool FACT, He also mentioned Mexes. Hmmmm. Tool

As for side notes, Woodgate injured? Surely not??

N-Power advert before kickoff cracked me up, great day to use Wembley stadium for advertising :)

Great player, Dodgy body. Could this put his WC place in jeopardy? I think that performance may have just got Cesc on the plane to Germany.

Anything goes for the Quarters isn't it?

That's where we played Chelsea a couple of seasons ago anyway.

Yes, we had group and country protection for this round. It ends after this round.

Fair enough, he told me straight & how it is all right:)
I hope we get a lesson from an unheard of player too, just hope we don't concede too many:)

Isn't he in the same team as Viera? ;)

Out of interest does anyone know if there are any regulations about doctoring the pitch at half-time ? No-one seems to be making a fuss about it so i'm guessing its not uncommon, just i haven't really seen it done (so blatantly) before.
For those that were lucky enough not to watch the Liverpool game last night who wonder what i'm on about - the groundstaff came on at halftime and literally drenched the one half of the pitch that Liverpool were defending for the second half, and left 'their' half untouched.Don't know how much,if any advantage it gave them ,but it just seemed a bit 'off'

As I said earlier in this thread it's happened in England this season, as far as I'm aware it's not against any rules.

To be honest without RA money Chelsea would more than likey not exist. Were they not a few hours/days from going under?
